We, self-study research methodologists and teacher educators, work to enhance professional learning and practice to improve education and serve the public good. In our self-studies, we offer new interpretations and conclusions through collaborative research methods inspired by the arts. In this paper, we examine the impact of collaborative creativity on qualitative data analysis in self-study research. Drawing on polyvocality and bricolage, we explore a co-creative experimental design. Using poetry and dialogue, we demonstrate how flexible and imaginative data analysis increases our understanding. We expand on eight design elements beneficial to co-creative experimental analysis: choice, space, uncertainty, cultural, different, together, change, academic. This study shows how designing co-creative self-study data analysis might generate educational possibilities and be a catalyst for change.
