Abstract

Privatization and marketization in education have been taking root for over three decades. This has included higher institutions of learning. Implications have been considered in terms of management and resource or funding aspects. This study focuses on the epistemological implications by examining the context of universities in Uganda. In this way, it is expected to contribute to the scholarly debates on the issues.
