The contribution of religion(s) to education is a relatively underdeveloped area. Within this subfield, the literature on Sikh philosophy is even more scant. This paper, therefore, examines education's fundamental questions -what, why, and how- through the lens of Sikh wisdom from their scripture, history, and scholarly texts. It draws on core Sikh ideas and principles to elucidate their perspective on education. Using Sikh epistemology, it critiques the key components of education in terms of knowledge, wisdom, scholarship, instruction, and teachers. Additionally, it offers recommendations for integrating these constructs into modern educational settings. Ultimately, this study aims to contribute to the scholarship on educational philosophy, holistic education, contemplative learning, and spiritual pedagogy.
