Sun, April 14, 9:35 to 11:05am, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Floor: Level 200, Exhibit Hall A

Abstract

This study focused on educational policy makers (in this case primary and secondary school leaders), involved in educational interventions for gifted students in the Netherlands. More specifically, this study focused on the interaction that school leaders perceive to have with teachers and parents, and how the school leaders perceived the involvement of those actors. This study also collected the school leaders’ satisfaction with these interactions and involvements.
The aim of this study is to gain an insight into the involvement of and interactions between certain actor types (e.g., teachers, parents, school leaders) in educational interventions for gifted students in primary and secondary education, as seen from school leaders’ perspective.
