Abstract

Researchers examined an intervention of focus, a community co-development toolkit and process for addressing climate and racial justice, called the “Climate Justice Collaborative Toolkit.” Its goal is to improve and increase collaboration processes and outcomes surrounding climate justice, as situated within diverse ranges of community contexts. This toolkit and process are meant to be community-based and iterated based on participant input, while addressing issues surrounding climate and racial justice needs. Researchers utilized a mixed-methods data collection and analytical approach to examine the impact of the toolkit and process, all while focusing on improving both for more equitable and intersectional climate and racial justice efforts. Key findings evidenced ways to improve and increase collaborative climate and racial justice efforts, as such.
