Incorporating children's perspectives into educational practices is crucial for ensuring quality and promoting children's rights in early education. In this qualitative study, children aged three to six years were systematically interviewed by their educators using a specially developed app. The aim was to examine whether children are encouraged to articulate critical feedback directly to their educator through the open-ended questions in the app, and if so, which specific aspects they criticize. A category system was developed through content analysis to organize the data. The results demonstrate that, by using the app, children are stimulated to respond in a differentiated manner and express their needs and desires for improvements in the everyday pedagogical life and the behavior of the educators.
