Abstract

This paper merges two similar but distinctive qualitative studies that center the educational experiences of two Latina high school students in Southern California. The paper uses transformational resistance as a theoretical framework and provides the narratives of Reina and Olivia to answer the question: What are the ways Latina students engage in internal transformational resistance?
