Despite efforts toward social justice within critical Autistic activist circles, anti-Black racism permeates autism research, education, and policy worldwide. Within Autistic advocacy, an example of this presents itself vis-à-vis recent oppositions to the most recommended autism intervention worldwide - Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA). The following paper presents a discussion of statistical findings extracted from a mixed methods dissertation study, which relate to perceptions of ABA effectiveness shared by self-identified White and Black Autistic survey respondents. Results revealed an over-representation of views shared by White autistic respondents that reflects a gap in important nuanced considerations of Black autistic people. The critical discussion adds a significant contribution to all future disability justice research in Education.
