This study explores the transfer experiences of Hmong male college students from a community college to a four-year college and what they perceived as the contributing factors to their transfer success. A qualitative study was conducted to collect counter stories from Hmong male participants who have successfully transferred from a community college. Through Asian Critical (AsianCrit) Theory the author highlights how race and racism create gaps for Hmong males in an American education and implication for social justice through disaggregated data for Asian Americans, and equitable policy and practices for Hmong males.
