Abstract

The Radicalization and Extremism in Young Adolescents Project aims to investigate representations in young adolescents of the phenomena of radicalism and social extremism in order to prevent certain risk behaviors related to racism and descrimination that often result in violent actions. For the purpose of the research, 30 high school students from socioculturally disadvantaged backgrounds in Turin, Italy, were engaged within digital storytelling workshops. The research involved the use of different data collection tools: logbooks, observation grids and psychological questionnaires. At present, the data are still partial, but it is possible to return what emerged from the analysis of the stories.
