In this systematic review synthesizing in-service teachers’ technology integration factors, we examined 312 articles for publication trends, research methods and technology integration factors. There were 143 quantitative, 113 qualitative and 56 mixed method studies. Technology integration factors included student-related factors (student-diversity and interest), school-related factors (school background, resources and support, culture, curriculum and delivery), teacher- related factors (teacher background, affective and cognitive factors) and technology-related factors. Results indicated that several of these factors are necessary for technology integration whereas some factors had mixed findings in research. This review has implications for teachers, administrators, teacher educators and future researchers.
