This research examines the outcomes of a service-learning program on the social and emotional well-being and personal development of young adults with disabilities. The study employs surveys and interviews to explore the experience of the program on ten college students with disabilities, using a mixed-methods approach. The findings reveal that the program had overall positive outcomes for participants, including improved connection to others, enhanced independence, boosted self-confidence, greater acceptance by others, increased hope for future careers and decreased event numbers participated. The study highlights the significance of service-learning programs in promoting social inclusion and emotional well-being among young adults with disabilities and provides valuable insights for developing effective interventions in this field.
