Digital literacy work calls for models of equity, inclusivity, accessibility, and a strong commitment to anti-racist teaching (Perry, Zemelman, & Smith; 2022; Price-Dennis & Sealey Ruiz, 2021). Drawing from work of the Divergent Award Winners (O’Byrne et al., 2022), this poster offers salient examples implementing this commitment to digital literacies in the classroom through anti-racism lenses. We also highlight opportunities to continually redefine what it means to be able to read, write, and communicate effectively using digital texts.
