Abstract

Adaptive leadership, developed by Roland Heifetz, plays a crucial role in guiding leaders and followers through change and challenges in education. Addressing wicked problems, it draws on systems thinking, biological perspectives, and psychotherapy concepts. Using collaborative prismatic inquiry, this study explores the usefulness of adaptive leadership in a k-8 charter school when implementing and managing change, including exploring quantitative patterns on an adaptive leadership teacher survey suggesting that a sample study is worthwhile. Findings highlight the significance of leadership profiles and offer insights into managing complex educational changes effectively.
