This qualitative research shows processes based on content and expressions of three major museums whose principal missions are to exhibit Eastern art, and their relations to Buddhism, Beat poetry, and Beat prose. Framed with late 20th Century ideas about desire and affect, methods of creative production are used to break out of education research conventions by way of art and music. Moving multimedia data stories are presented that show timeless spiritual practices, including those involving education of the highest sort. Part of the goal of our cross-continental teamwork is to contribute to bridging widening divisions between East and West by demonstrating positive relations among our philosophies and creative productions, which is particularly important in the wake of increasing geopolitical tensions.
