This research examines how the historical evidence abounds with examples of institutionalized white supremacy remains to be one of the central construct education historians reference to increase continuing systematic racism and inequalities in decision-making employment positions. Based on education historians and other scholars from interdisciplinary approaches, they argue how institutionalized white supremacy can be made more credible to learners by anchoring it to everyday business-as-usual decision-making, stereotyping, and various ideologies. They also argue how sophisticated it can be with organizations’ intentionality that continues to promote inequalities such as with employment. Finally, this article shows from a historical progressive educational perspective, how dismantling institutionalized white supremacy strategically is more needed through critical thinking and social justice educational work.
