The purpose of this study was to adapt an Arabic version of the modified Media Multitasking Scale (MMS-modified) to the Saudi culture and examine the scale’s psychometric properties in a sample of 1,709 Saudi undergraduate students. This study also examined the measurement equivalence of the scale across gender. Content validity was established based on subject matter experts' (SMEs) assessment. Evidence of construct validity and internal consistency reliability was compiled through exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses (EFA and CFA) and Cronbach’s α coefficient. Multigroup CFA (MGCFA) was conducted to test gender-related measurement invariance. The EFA yielded a one-factor solution that was satisfactorily confirmed via CFA. The scale exhibited good reliability and was considered gender invariant.
