Factors Influencing Hmong College Students’ Career Choice

Abstract

Although there are studies on factors influencing the general college students and Asian American Students' career choices (Denice, 2020; Hsu & Chi, 2022; Tang, Fouad, & Smith, 1999), studies focusing on Hmong American students’ career choice have yet been explored. The purpose of this study is to explore the factors influencing Hmong American college students’ decision in choosing their career choice. This research will advance our understanding of the influential factors that contribute to Hmong American college students’ career choices and help institutions understand the influential factors to improve services for Hmong American College Students.
