The purpose of this paper is to explore the potential of a eudaimonic curriculum in fostering freedom from the constraints of a neoliberal curriculum which perpetuates student alienation, depriving them of opportunities to recognize their species beings, or true essence, and seek liberation (Marx, 1844). Eudaimonia is a term of Greek origin popularized by Aristotle which has commonly translated to mean one’s happiness or well-being (Vittersø, 2016). In this paper, eudaimonia is seen as the pursuit of a flourishing life, ans is conceptualized by the metaphor of driving a vehicle on the neoliberal road.
