Abstract

• Abstract: In this conceptual paper an intersectional feminist approach to mathematics education is considered by using D’Ignazio and Klein’s (2020) framework of data feminism. Their seven data feminist principles (examine power; challenge power; elevate emotion and embodiment; rethink binaries and hierarchies; embrace pluralism; consider context and make labour visible) are briefly discussed and translated to mathematics education contexts, including a transformation into the four domains of power proposed by Hill Collins (2009).
