This examines the possibility of integrating Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies into art education. These immersive and interactive tools have become seamlessly integrated into the educational landscape, providing experiences that blur the lines between physical, virtual, and augmented realities. The study focuses on the utilization of VR and AR to explore and appreciate the works of Asian artists from an intercultural perspective, examining how students explore intercultural education, develop novel artistic abilities, and utilize their own bodies as artistic mediums. The findings concentrate on the impact of VR and AR tools in enhancing intercultural understanding and artistic expression among preservice art teachers and their students.
