This conference paper advocates for a greater art and humanistic lexicon to be used by researchers utilizing the method of educational criticism and connoisseurship. By adopting a fresh language and discarding such terms as “stakeholders,” “coding,” “emic” and “etic” researchers can utilize strategies and methods aligned with the arts and humanities, fostering a more comprehensive and nuanced understanding of educational practices.
