Important relational growth occurs when building a relationship between researchers, practitioners, and policymakers. In this study, we focus our discussion on the overall design and structure of research-practice-policy partnerships (RPPPs), how they can collaboratively develop, how educational goals can model DEI principles, and the central role of communication in building a successful RPPP. If we want our education research to work toward an equitable public good, it is essential to work with practitioners and policymakers throughout the research process as partners in the research (Price, 2021). This collaborative process maximizes the chance of educational research to be heard by the policymaking community because they are invested stakeholders in the projects not just receivers of the information.
