Abstract

This presentation seeks to address a question that continues to bedevil education and especially modernist education that claims to address racism and other structural and persistent inequities is joy the answer to this challenge? And if it is, why does it seem to be absent in most standards documents in education and teacher education? We propose that Barad’s agential realism and genealogy as a research method offers some insights into these perplexing and disobedient questions.
