This paper examines disruption through AI (ancestral intelligence) as a method to transform our teacher education program in order to identify and face the residual effects of the four pandemics (Ladson-Billings, 2021), especially the pandemic of systemic racism in education made glaringly apparent in the covid-19 pandemic. What we found was that sustainable change must start with individual healing, collaborative problem solving and community-centered strategies that address the same issues differently.
