Kingsessing: A Neighborhood That Needs More Parks!

Abstract

This presentation will describe the assets and challenges in the Kingsessing neighborhood of Philadelphia. The presentation will also describe the history and function of the Glenda Ann Memorial Park, and the transition of the unused lot to a park. The presenters will be Greg Thompson, a Ward Leader and the project manager of the Glenda Ann Memorial Park, and Doc Simmons who is an engaged community member.
