Abstract

This study investigated the everyday civic practices of youth and explored their civic and prosocial decisions. Researchers conducted focus groups of elementary students about scenarios involving a classmate in need of assistance. Findings suggest that youth deliberate intentionally on their civic and prosocial actions based on contextual factors.
