Sun, April 14, 1:15 to 2:45pm, Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Floor: Level 4, Franklin 2

Abstract

An increasing number of students have been adopting AI technology for more personalized learning experiences. This exploratory study investigates the perceptions of 55 undergraduate students regarding the integration of ChatGPT into their learning. Several current perspectives on ChatGPT have focused on academic integrity and its ethical use. However, very limited research has delved into student perspectives and examined how students utilize ChatGPT for their learning. By analyzing students' perceptions, this research aims to enrich our current understanding of ChatGPT's role in student learning. Understanding how students use ChatGPT in learning can broaden our perspectives on integrating AI technology into educational research and classrooms.
