Abstract

In a new book I am bringing together articles and book chapters on moral education and citizenship education which I wrote in the past twenty-five years. It is not just a reprint but a reconstruction of an intellectual development and social-political project. It is also an effort to influence theory, policy and practice of education, in particular moral and citizenship education. I try to show which theories and experiences have influenced my work, and hope to demonstrate what the relevant topics are for further research, educational renewal and future life on this planet.
