Abstract

This paper investigates the effects of emotional awareness and a sense of belonging on Black students in informal STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) settings. By recognizing the emotional needs of Black students and cultivating an atmosphere of inclusion, we can create an environment that is more supportive and empowering for them to participate in STEAM activities.
