This research uses critical race theory (CRT) to study the experiences and identities of Palestinian Arab graduates of American schools. CRT examines how race, racism, and power affect ethnic minorities in education. The research also explores how Palestinian Arab students acculturate and identify with their culture while seeking recognition and influence in the United States. The research conducts semi-structured interviews with 12 participants and analyzes three themes: discrimination, invisibility, and identity development. These themes show the challenges and opportunities of Palestinian Arab students and their multiple identities. The research adds to the literature on CRT and acculturation in education and suggests ways to make schools more inclusive and supportive for ethnic minorities.
