The study presents a fifth iteration of design-based research capstone course (ANSC 498 – Senior Capstone; Animal Science) in a public southern research 1 university. The course revolves around group projects where students work collaboratively on self-selected topics through the Design Thinking for Engaged Learning framework. This study employs learning experience network analysis to visualize reflection data. Subsequently, educators and researchers leverage each cluster, encompassing nodes related to success, struggles, and learning theory, as a reference for making evidence-based learning design decisions.
