The purpose of this paper is to introduce the concept of "incarnational literacy," a maker-centered, arts-based approach to literacy engagements. Incarnational literacy embodies a synergistic fusion of reading, writing, and art making, designed to facilitate human transformation and enhance self-understanding through intentional embodiment (referred to as "incarnation").
