This qualitative examination of the Amplifying Black Voices (ABV) Critical Mentorship program investigates the impact of critical mentorship on aspiring and in-service Black educator attrition and whether participation enhances awareness of critical roles of Black teachers in Clark County classrooms and prepares students for careers as culturally responsive practitioners and education leaders. This research study aims to contribute valuable insights to the existing knowledge on mentorship programs, with a specific focus on addressing Black educator attrition and leadership.. Moreover, this study serves as a call-to-action for post-secondary institutions and school districts’ in regions with significant Black teacher shortages to implement critical mentorship programs facilitated by Black practitioners.
