While there has been an increase in disabled students enrolling in higher education, more attention is needed to understand their college experience. Considering the changes in disclosure, acquisition, and level of supportive services in college for disabled students, it is important to understand the perceptions of students during this postsecondary education transition process. A disability studies in education framework was employed, and qualitative coding analysis were conducted. Preliminary results indicated there were two different experiences with faculty, peers, on campus, and obtaining accommodations and support based on the type of disability services (standard or fee-based) they received.
