Sat, April 13, 1:15 to 2:45pm, Pennsylvania Convention Center, Floor: Level 200, Exhibit Hall B

Abstract

The International Successful School Principalship Project (ISSPP) has been actively conducting research on successful principalship since 2001. This paper presents a meta-analysis of 80 empirical studies from 15 countries, aiming to identify successful school leadership practices that can make schools successful and help students from diverse backgrounds to succeed academically. Employing meta-ethnography, the findings from ISSPP publications on successful leadership practices in various global contexts were carefully analyzed. The findings add to our understanding of successful principalship and inform leadership development in a global educational context.
