Black women principals face unique stressors, including racial microaggressions, discrimination, and a lack of work-life balance. This can lead to burnout, but research shows that they cope with stress through spirituality, communal networks, and mentoring. This study examines the work-life balance of Black women principals in the Mid-Atlantic region to identify stressors and develop strategies to reduce burnout.
