There is a relationship between representations and Computational thinking (CT). The multifaceted nature of CT, and the use of robotics as a means to engage learners, highlights the central role of representations in navigating CT spaces. Students can use several forms of representations, concrete manipulatives, symbols, and verbal expressions to understand, navigate and solve CT problems. Different representations students engage in are sometimes interconnected. The interconnectedness of representational systems can support the development of CT knowledge.
