Systemic racism continues to plague our educational system. A large body of research has risen to study and evaluate these systemic problems. However, we must recognize that as education researchers that we contribute to our educational systems, and possibly systemic racism, even if the research we conduct does not study race/racism. This raises the question of how researchers that do not study race/racism can engage in anti-racist research methodologies. The present study addresses this question by evaluating QuantCrit theory and methods papers and identifying consistent principles. The principles are then used to create actionable suggestions that researchers can take in order to bring anti-racism to their quantitative research, even if it does not evaluate race/racism.
