This study investigates the connections between Ocean Academy (OA) and the Caye Caulker in Belize. The study employs Sociocultural Theory (ST) to investigate how adding a secondary school to the island has affected life there. The study investigates stakeholders' perceptions, interactions, and the influence of OA on social norms and culture through naturalistic inquiry. Findings demonstrate a stimulating learning environment emphasizing service learning, compassion, and cultural vibrancy. The school's incorporation of diverse perspectives and global knowledge promotes cultural preservation and civic responsibility. Despite obstacles, the community works together to improve educational opportunities. The study's implications highlight the significance of inclusive educational practices that accord with best practices and preserve cultural heritage.
