Abstract

This presentation explores the emerging phenomenon of social media groups dedicated to helping teachers transition out of the teaching profession. Utilizing innovative methods to study social media practices, the authors analyze data representations within the group to understand its role in supporting teachers seeking to leave the classroom. The existence and popularity of such groups present new challenges in education. Understanding this trend is crucial to addressing the implications and potential impacts of social media on teacher retention and attrition.
