This study explored international students' experiences of studying and living in the United States during the COVID-19 era through an interview-based survey to reveal specific insights, feelings, and changes in their future due to their experiences. Using Community Cultural Wealth as a conceptual framework, the findings reveal risk factors for international students during this time of multiple impacts due to the pandemic and related policies, i.e., academic barriers, psychological issues, health threats, and racial bias. The research also compared the international student population from Asia with other ethnic and racial minority groups and discussed the impact of the current Anti-Asian sentiment in the United States on international students from Asia.
