The goal of this qualitative study was to explore multidisciplinary team experiences with developing multiplatform continuing medical education training program for healthcare professionals in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). The timeline for program development included the period between September 2019 and October 2022. Specifically, the paper presents our conceptual framework, rooted in the principles of human-centered design and situated learning, and the logic model illustrating the step-by-step process of program development. Next, it discusses findings from three semi-structured focus group interviews with 10 experts from multiple disciplinary areas who were actively involved in the program development. Thematic analysis of the qualitative data with two cycles of coding resulted in four major themes including Lessons Learned, Challenges, Recommendations, and Future Directions.
