Learning Self-Study Research: A Conceptual Framework
Thu, April 11, 2:30 to 4:00pm, Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, Floor: Level 3, Room 301Abstract
the research on learning to conduct self-study research has itself been conducted through self-study methods. This creates certain limitations given the highly individualized and contextualized experiences of those writing about their experiences learning self-study. Therefore, the goal of this study was to use non-self-study qualitative methods to generate a conceptual framework for learning self-study research that the field can use to support the preparation of future self-study researchers. The research question investigated in this study was: How do self-study researchers learn to conduct self-study research?
