This paper combines restorative justice education (RJE) concepts, lived experiences, and futurisms to create imagined ways of transforming education into a site of care and belonging. This paper explores the challenges, values, and impact of prioritizing lived experiences and non-traditional ways of teaching when introducing Restorative Justice Education into Ontario (Canada) secondary schools. We question how Ontario schools can reimagine possibilities for RJE.
