Abstract

College enrollment has improved considerably over the past forty years; however, there are still groups of students that are underrepresented across specific sectors of postsecondary education. Within selective colleges and universities, military-connected students are notably underrepresented. This study focuses on exploring the unique trajectories of military-connected students, offering a nuanced understanding of the college choice process, mechanisms for advising support, and early transitions to these postsecondary institutions.
