For more than a decade, increasing attention has been paid to the field of positive education. Positive education, a rapidly developing ramification of positive psychology, has proved beneficial to students’ learning and wellbeing. Meanwhile, online learning has quickly gained popularity due to the impact of COVID-19. The purpose of our study thus was to explore the applicability and analyze the effectiveness of the online version of the coaching program provided during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study revealed how university students from diverse cultural backgrounds can strengthen their well-being and develop resilience during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it produced suggestions for the future improvement of the online coaching program based on students’ feedback.
