To engage in an active dialogue on anti-Black racism within the U.S. and the Latin American LatinX community writ large, I propose a Critical AfroLatinX Theory, a framework to be used alongside Critical Race Theory and LatCrit Theory to acknowledge the racism faced by the AfroLatinX community within the LatinX community.
