Using Standards for Continuous Improvement

Abstract

Continuous school improvement is an overarching goal for schools to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for all students. Districts and schools can use the standards associated with this presentation to prepare students for post-secondary work and community partnership. Too many improvement priorities may diminish sustainable change (Keating et al., 1999; Kovach & Ingle, 2020), therefore, using standards to develop a continuous improvement process works to narrow and focus academic improvement at all levels.
