In Event: Reenvisioning Teacher Education Policy and Programs to Construct Educational Possibilities
This is a study of how a new conceptual framework that is both educational justice-oriented and also required-for-accreditation came into being with a group of mixed-rank and mixed-role colleagues. Recordings of our conversations, drafts, and pedagogical strategies for co-writing were analyzed during and after the process in order to understand if and how the pedagogies of this collective enterprise was inclusive across various subjectivities, including the damaging effects of rank with the goal of creating an altruistic and mobile vision for preparing preservice K-12 teachers. In our presentation we will share the analysis of this generative, re-envisioning process as well as our new conceptual framework - a poem.
